Users in Samsung's beta program have that the device was rebooting on their own intermittently, Though frequently enough for it to be noted as an issue. The wireless update addresses the issue within its change log. The update is available for beta users in the UK and Korea.
Users will also notice a change in the notifications that appear on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge lockscreen. The notification panels are now more transparent, making it easier to see the lockscreen wrapper regardless of whether there's a notification on screen. There is no trekking whether the feature will remain for the official Android 7.0 Nougat update. Samsung has tested other features in previous beta versions only to take them away.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will receive Android 7.1.1 Nougat update when the software becomes publicly available. With the end of December loaning, it appears the official software rollout will take place in January.
