If you use a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, not insert the pin the wrong way. Samsung will now tell you so much with a new warning message.
after it was revealed that inserting the S stylus on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 backwards would permanently damage the phone, Samsung responds by sticking a warning on the packaging, reports tech times. The warning is printed on the plastic screen protector that protects the screen in the packaging.
In previous iterations of the galaxy note, Samsung made it impossible for the S Pen inserted in its bracket back by connecting one end of the S Pen is larger than the other. For the galaxy note 5, Samsung has with this design, making it possible to insert the S Pen either way.
If the S Pen was inserted backwards, it could become stuck in the slot and the pin detection mechanism could be damaged. As a result, many of the Stylus features on the Galaxy Note 5 would be useless, even if the pen has been removed from its slot. An unfortunate design errors in an otherwise excellent phone.
The warning is almost impossible to miss as it appears in the upper right corner of the screen.
Now, as the first detected by a unboxing video from YouTube users J. Williams, Samsung includes a warning to users not to insert the S Pen backwards on the plastic foil of the phone.Even if the user does not see the warning, Samsung has at least made it clear that the S pen should not be the wrong way.
Samsung will certainly design a fail safe for the next iteration of the galaxy note, but for now, a warning sign is all the protection of users. We hope that Samsung looks for a possible software update, your phone to sound a warning if the wrong end of the pin inserted on, but it might be hard to protection against false alarms.
Until then, Note 5 owners should be careful and probably fail give their phones to their children, even for short periods of time.
