Google has given a name to its soon-to-be released Android 6.0 operating system for mobile devices: Marshmallow.
It's tradition for each major overhaul of the dominant mobile operating system to be designated with a letter of the alphabet and attached to a sugary treat. The first version to observe this was Cupcake (1.5), which was followed by Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop and now Marshmallow.

After quickly announcing the next version of Android as 6.0 Marshmallow. On August 17th, Google unwrapped their latest chewy gooey Android treat, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Google uploaded the official unveiling video to YouTube.
